Preparing your environment for a Power to Heal session is essential to maximize the benefits of this transformative practice. Whether new to somatics and breathwork or a seasoned practitioner, creating a conducive space can enhance your experience and deepen your connection with your inner healing potential.

Start by finding a quiet and comfortable area where you won't be disturbed during your session. Eliminate distractions and create a peaceful ambiance with soft lighting, calming scents like lavender or eucalyptus. This serene atmosphere sets the stage for a focused and immersive experience.

Next, ensure your seating arrangement supports proper posture and allows for unrestricted breathing and movement. Find a comfortable position, ideally lying down. Keep a water bottle nearby to stay hydrated throughout the session. I also like lip balm incase my lips get dry.

Lastly, if you're participating in a Power to Heal session virtually, ensure your technology is set up for a seamless experience. Check your internet connection, camera angle, and audio quality to minimize disruptions and fully immerse yourself in the guided practice. Ideally, I would like to be able to see your upper torso and be able to hear you clearly.

By setting up your space mindfully for a Power to Heal session, you create an inviting environment that supports your journey toward healing, rejuvenation, and inner transformation.
